PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Victor Julius Ngoh is a Professor of History with extensive academic and administrative experience.
He studied in Cameroon and the United States, earning the following degrees:
- B.A. in History – University of Yaoundé, Cameroon (1976)
- M.A. in History – Portland State University, Oregon, USA (1979)
- Ph.D. in History – University of Washington, Seattle, USA (1982)
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Professor at the Pan-African University, Institute of Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences, Yaoundé.
- Taught in universities in the USA and Europe.
- Over 25 years in university administration, serving as:
- Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Buea
- Registrar, University of Buea
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Cooperation), University of Buea
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs), University of Bamenda
- President, Catholic University Institute of Buea
- Fulbright Senior Scholar.
- Published extensively on the Political History of Cameroon, with numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
